Jayson Hron is the Port Authority’s primary spokesperson and leads its communications, marketing and public affairs strategy. He oversees media relations, publications, digital communications, branding, advertising, stakeholder engagement, community outreach and special events, advancing the Port Authority’s mission and strategic priorities.
Hron holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth, a master’s degree from St. Cloud State University and Maritime Port Executive certification from the International Association of Maritime Port Executives. His community and industry service includes board positions with the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association, Duluth-Superior Maritime Club, St. Louis River Quest and Twin Ports Ministry to Seafarers. He also serves on the public relations and communications committees of the American Association of Port Authorities and the Chamber of Marine Commerce.
